What is The Automotive camera rig?
It is a special stand to take stunning photographs of the car.
Automotive camera rig or car camera rig is an aluminum tubing based camera stand that allows you to get an image of the car that looks like it is mooving at high speed. But in fact the vehicle is only moving very slowly over a very short distance like 1 or 2 meters. The result - in the picture the car turns out to look sharp and clear while the background is blurry.

The camera mounted on a car camera rig is set on a long exposure and while the car is slowly moving, the camera moves along with it and takes the shot. This action gives the perfect sharpness of the car and dynamic blur on the background.

The equipment
You will need:
1) Any camera with wide angle lens and an ability to control shutter speed. So any DSLR with 18-55mm kit lens will do;
2) The automotive camera rig kit;
3) And definitely - the car. But it can be a buggy, go-kart, motorbike, bicycle, tractor, truck, even lawn mower and so on.

Why do you need this?
Stabilization cabel installs in under a minute, and keeps the boom more rigid on less than perfect surfaces. Stainless steel main eyelet assembly, installs in seconds with wave lock washers, and stainless hex & wing-nuts. Adjustable aluminum turnbuckle ends with stainless hook and eyelet.

Why should you use this?
You need your camera to stay as stable as possible, so you leave the vehicle engine shut and instead of hardly pushing the car - use this cable with handle to pull the car gently. This helps you to avoid the risk of the camera shake as well as the risk of getting your body in the shot. Besides, pulling the car is much easier than pushing it.
